Core Responsibility: Oversee daily operations on the assembly line Assign tasks and manage team members Monitor productivity and ensure targets are met Maintain quality standards (inspect finished products, reduce defects) Enforce safety protocols and workplace policies Train new employees and coach existing staff Troubleshoot issues (equipment problems, workflow bottlenecks) Report performance metrics to management Measure, compare and make simple or complex shop calculations necessary to ensure products are in conformance with engineering or sales specifications using materials, methods and equipment in the shop (included but not limited to sanders, drills, air, and electric hand cutting tools) Material fit ups and layouts with steel Position and secure workpieces using hand tools, forklifts, etc. Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions Sanding/grinding Breaking out steel Steel panel assembly with bolt together construction Material handling/forklift Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Tomball Controls is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (minimum)
  • Experience in assembly or manufacturing

  • Prior leadership experience a plus

Responsibilities
