About The Position
Come grow with us! We have an immediate need for an Assembly Lead to join our team at Trimjoist Corporation. Founded in 1994, Trimjoist has expanded its operations and is now establishing roots in Idaho. As an employee at our new facility in Kuna, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the Owyhee Mountains and be part of a healthy work culture that values safety and teamwork. This full-time, technical level lead role reports directly to the Plant Manager and is crucial for managing the Assembly team. The primary function of the Assembly Lead is to ensure that team members are properly trained and that the assembly process is executed efficiently and safely. In this role, you will be responsible for learning, executing, training on, and managing all aspects of the TrimJoist® Assembly process. This includes performing general assembly work as needed to support plant operations, which encompasses front-end and back-end duties such as stocking materials, gluing and assembling components, operating machinery, and ensuring quality assurance on all assembled products. You will also be tasked with training and coaching team members on the safe use of equipment, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role requires physical strength, as you will need to lift completed joists weighing up to 100 lbs with the assistance of team members, and adhere to all safety and operational procedures. As an Assembly Lead, you will collaborate with other Team Leads to enhance daily production efficiency and become a subject matter expert on the equipment used in the assembly process.
