Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the Assembly Intern provides the best possible support by assisting with all aspects of factory planning and engineering and helps to ensure that the ongoing plant expansion project runs smoothly.

Requirements

  • Having graduated within the past 12 months or currently working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Business or relevant degree is required to participate in the intern program.
  • Eager, driven, focused, hard-working individuals that are ready to assist a growing company with handling a complex multi-million dollar project.
  • Willing to learn and be taught skills from experienced members of the engineering team.
  • Self-motivated and interested in adding value and making a difference within an organization.

  • Feasibility analysis of optimization projects
  • Optimize daily processes with new ideas

  • Coordinate project steps with plant operations
  • Read and interpret drawings
  • Competent contact for external business partners
  • Training and experience in core area of study
  • Study and improve plant safety measures
  • Assist where needed by the department or other areas
  • Assist and lead meetings
