The Assembler II – Modular is responsible for assembling complex modular data center components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly processes, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and consistent adherence to safety and quality expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment. Assembler II employees are expected to work with minimal supervision, support less experienced assemblers, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work in various environments - Preferred
  • High School degree or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • No prior trade experience required; general labor or construction experience preferred.
  • Interest in developing a career in construction or electrical trades.
  • Basic hand tool familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general construction, assembly, and installation activities under supervision.
  • Support modular assembly with staging, preparation, and material handling.
  • Perform basic tasks such as loading materials, handling tools, and maintaining clean work areas.
  • Assist with installation of racks, containment systems, cabling pathways, and related components.
  • Support basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire and mounting boxes under supervision.
  • Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely.
  • Follow all job site safety rules and immediately report unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in safety meetings and required training programs.
  • Learn to read and follow basic drawings and supervisor instructions..
  • Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn multiple trades.
