The Assembly/Bundling Technician works to assemble and group different components for building machines in an efficient and effective manner and bundles those components for shipping. Requirements
- Assembly or manufacturing experience a plus
- Manual dexterity
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to run a variety of tools
- Ability to understand the assembly process
- Ability to focus on details
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Trustworthy and dependable
- Work with an acceptable attitude toward co-workers and supervisors
Responsibilities
- Assemble, fit and install fabricated and prefabricated parts to form a finished product using hand and power tools
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect cables, tubes and wires
- Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques
- Prepare parts for shipment
- Safe operation of manufacturing equipment including lift trucks, hoists and cranes
- Understand the component of assembling the machine and/or equipment
- Work productively as directed
- Overtime may be required during certain times of the year
- Ensure a clean working area
- Follow established policies and procedures for acceptable attendance, safety and quality standards
