About The Position

This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products

Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Able to transport and move up to 25 lbs.
  • Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours)
  • Obtain L3Harris provided J-STD-001 Certification within first 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

  • Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructions
  • Assemble small and large components to form sub-assemblies or completed assemblies using torque drivers, long nose pliers, screw drivers, and soldering irons
  • Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area
  • Crosstrain new and current employees on all assembly lines
  • Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements
  • Perform quality checks consistent with the inspection and control plans
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment
  • Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks
