About The Position

This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products Essential Functions: Performs a variety of mechanical of electro-mechanical assemly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the area Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements Perform some hand soldering on electronic assemblies Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment Uses Microsoft Office programs Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks Ability to work overtime as needed Able to transport and move up to 25 lbs Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior assembly experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior assembly experience
