About The Position

Under full supervision, responsible for the general assembly for Production Line includes all phases of the production of commercial HVAC products from the initial assembly at the head of the line to final assembly and packaging in the finishing department following all company safety procedures.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required.
Ability to work with various machines and tools.
Attention to detail.
Ability to do repetitive task.
Prior mechanical assembly experience, minimum of 6 months preferred.
Prior experience using various hand tools, air tools, as well as measuring tools.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift over 40 pounds.
May be asked to learn operations at multiples workstations.
Proficient in use of measuring tools, drills, and saws.
Good basic math skills.
The ability to be trained in other areas.
Must be able to follow all safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
Ability to follow the work schedule, based on production and business needs.

Responsibilities

Will learn to prepare work with assistance from fellow assemblers to be accomplished by studying the assembly instructions and parts lists.
Assist with positioning and assembling parts and subassemblies by the measurements.
Learn the specifications verification process.
Keeps equipment operational.
Maintains safe and clean work environment.
Required to follow verbal and written instructions.
May include work on subassemblies components or final assembly of HVAC products.
Assist in other departments and areas as required to meet company and production goals.
Other duties as assigned by management
