About The Position

As a Technical Trainer, you'll be an integral part of our Smart Factory's success, developing our frontline workforce. This isn't just about training; you'll be a key player in enhancing communication, sharing expertise, ensuring safety, and driving efficiency. This role requires a strong background in training, technical knowledge, leadership, and a deep commitment to safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This specific role is for a combined Final Assembly (FA) and Warehouse (WH) Trainer, working a swing shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate others
  • A strong commitment to high-quality work
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret operational instructions and process maps
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • The flexibility to work periodic shift hours as needed.
  • Experience working in cross-functional groups with diverse technical, experiential, and personal backgrounds
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion
  • The ability to become a certified forklift trainer is a must

Responsibilities

  • Provide both specific and general training to operators
  • Train, coach, and mentor operators to improve their capabilities and drive continuous process improvement
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, the quality team, and leadership to develop effective training solutions
  • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to validate employee skills and expertise
  • Ensure all programs and processes comply with industry best practices, including ISO competence standards and Ericsson's safety requirements
  • Maintain training plans, content, and reporting using our Learning Management System (LMS), overseeing schedules, compliance records, and online courses
  • Coordinate training schedules with all relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain training equipment, including laptops and specialized tools for the functional areas
  • Act as the operator's voice during work instruction reviews to ensure documentation meets their needs
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and safety compliance to achieve operational excellence
  • Provide expert assistance to production teams when available, without compromising primary responsibilities
