The Assembly & Test Technician is responsible for testing and assembly of electronic products. The role involves working with circuit boards and PCs used for testing in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Familiarity with ESD procedures
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation (ERP systems).
Understanding of quality control processes.
Soldering skills through hole and surface mount.
Use of Digital multimeters (DMM)
High school diploma or GED required
Proven experience in electronic testing and assembly (1–3+ years preferred)
Ability to read work instructions and bill of materials.
Proficiency with electronic test equipment
Good manual dexterity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, blueprints, and Schematics Packaging.
Perform functional, electrical, mechanical, and/or performance testing on assembled units.
Use hand tools, power tools, measurement instrument
Interpret work instructions.
Document test results via shop orders and ERP system.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations.
Report on production issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
