Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? This is an amazing opportunity for an Assembly and Test Inspector for our Product Delivery Center. This is a 2nd Shift Monday -Friday 3:30pm to Midnight. There is a shift differential offered on 2nd shift.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.

Nice To Haves

  • A&P License.
  • Experience working from complicated drawings, specifications, procedures, and instructions.
  • Experience working with Solumina, SFWF, or similar programs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certifications to operate powered industrial vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
  • Perform Dimensional and Visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.
  • Accept or reject material based on findings.
  • Work from applicable written inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
  • Plan and perform dimensional and/or visual inspection on parts, tools, gages and other equipment.
  • Refer material for rework or quality review based on findings.
  • Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments including automated measuring machines.
  • Perform necessary mathematical computations to resolve extent of nonconformance and complete appropriate paperwork.
  • Follow proper procedures to perform in-line checks and verifications of dimensions.
  • Carry out tasks within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives.
