Apply your expertise as an Assembly and Process Technician in our Valmet Tissue Converting Team out of our Green Bay, WI office. Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled assembler to support tissue production and converting equipment. This position will w ork with Production Manager and lead technicians to assemble and test machines as required to meet production schedules.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or technical diploma, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Ability to work with bill of materials as well as understanding of technical drawings and schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex systems and processes.
Basic operation of hand and machine tools (mill, lathe, press, tap).
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with cross-functional teams and customers.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with tissue production and/or converting equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Work with a team to assemble and test converting and packaging machines/lines.
Perform internal and customer check-outs , matching machine performance to contract specifications .
Document and complete punch -list items prior to shipment .
Document changes in machine BOM’s and manufacturing errors .
Identify and maintain a safe work environment respecting 5S principle .
Participate in Continuous improvement project teams
Support the team in organization of material for machine assembly
Maintenance of tools and fixtures for shop and office
