About The Position

This position is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions to perform a series of operations to correctly disassemble and assemble components. Additionally, this position may be responsible for operation of machinery including lathe machine or drill press. This is a 1st shift position with standard hours Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm. Location: KRC 4800 Deramus Ave Kansas City, MO 64120.

Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of the basic use of specialized equipment & hand tools.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Perform the same task repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed disassembly and assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Disassembles and assembles components by utilizing hand and power tools.
• Cleans and buffs components.
• Wash components in solvent and run parts through parts washer.
• Blowout parts to remove solvent and dirt.
• May require operation of a lathe machine or drill press.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
• Make sure that schedules are running exactly as they are listed.
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
• Turn off equipment when not in use.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
