About The Position

The Assembly Operator reports line leadership and is primarily responsible for assisting in the flow of production. This position involves the movement of raw materials through the installation area, ensuring proper parts specifications for window completion, maintaining sufficient part supply at processing stations, moving completed parts to the shipping area, and assisting in repair work as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Able to identify that product meets quality and productivity standards
• Ability to use hand tools
• Ability to focus on details to guarantee production of high-quality products
• Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements
• Willing and available to work overtime to reach goals
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) plus

Responsibilities

• Movement of raw material through installation area
• Assurance of proper parts specifications (size, dimensions, gauge, etc.) for window completion
• Assurance of sufficient part supply at all processing stations
• Movement of completed parts from installation area to shipping area
• Assistance in repair work as necessary
