Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy industrial assembly, preferred
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, preferred
  • Experience using gauges such as micrometers and calipers, preferred
  • Experience using hydraulic & pneumatic presses, torque guns, and hoists, preferred
  • Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement, preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • To perform this job successfully the following computer proficiencies are desired: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods of time. The employee must use hands and fingers for machine operation, data entry, lifting and/or carrying. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without assistance

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate power wheel assembly centers
  • Use and maintain electric hand tools
  • Read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets
  • Read and understand gauges and other measuring devices
  • Accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
