About The Position

The Assembler position at Teledyne Technologies involves supporting the manufacturing of vacuum envelope mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies. The role focuses on inspecting all levels of assemblies and requires familiarity with schematic interpretation and the use of common measuring equipment. The candidate will also be responsible for building assemblies and ensuring quality while maintaining production flow to meet weekly schedule requirements.

Requirements

• Self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
• Experience with small parts, small hand tools, and microscopes.
• Prior experience in reading blueprints and procedures.
• Attention to detail with a strong desire for precision and accuracy.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from management and engineering staff.
• Ability to lift 5 to 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Tig welding and Bell Jar brazing experience.
• Clean room experience and knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control.
• Experience in reading Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
