  • Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties including: repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures
  • Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput
  • Install and assemble components for RVs, School Buses, and Walk-In Vans
  • Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process, utilize drawings, bills of materials, and specification sheets in both electronic and hard copy
  • Operate the following tools and equipment: jigs and fixtures, pneumatic and DC tools for fasteners and assembly of units, hoists, cranes, and test equipment
  • Assembles and bundles Chassis according to engineering specifications
  • Conscious of inventory of parts and works with materials personnel and quality assurance inspectors to alleviate part shortages and the proper execution of inventory control
  • Corrects any defects located on the chassis and is responsible for quality workmanship
  • Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping, and supporting power tools
  • Must be able to stand on concrete for the entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Must maintain a clean work area
  • Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures
  • Cross-train on other jobs as required
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing (automotive/trucking) environment
  • Previous mechanical experience
