Rennco located in Homer, MI is searching for an assembler who will perform most mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations.

  • Perform most mechanical, pneumatic, and some electrical assembly operations.
  • Read and understand an Assembly Drawing.
  • Lead multiple projects on the shop floor from the machine start date through the checkout process.
  • Monitor the machine project schedule for assembly.
  • Work with Project Manager and Assembly Lead/Manager while monitoring hours and resources.
  • Work with Engineers on building mocked-up designs required for proper functionality of Rennco equipment.
  • Successfully and efficiently assemble 2 or more product lines.
  • Ensure that work area is clean, safe and orderly.
  • Take proper care of shop tools and make sure they are returned to their proper place daily.
  • Fit, align and adjust all components on a machine for testing with limited supervision.
  • Assist in the test and final adjustments of machines.
  • Assist in the on-site installation of machines.
  • Take a support role in the World Class Checkout Process.
  • Follow and adhere to all Quality and Assembly standards.
  • 2-year technical college degree preferred but not required.
  • 2-4 years experience as an Assembler.
  • Must understand cause/effect of changes to mechanical equipment.
  • Must be able to recommend design changes to improve operation of equipment.
  • Must be able to identify and correct machine operational problems.
  • Has the ability to lead and mentor other employees.
