About the job As an integral member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in assembling parts, components, and equipment to meet the quality standards established by Alfa Laval and demanded by our customers. You will have the opportunity to work with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization. Currently, this is an on-site opportunity located in Houston-TX. As a part of the team, you will: Be self-motivated, driven, and technically inclined to assemble products with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. Assist team members in the assembly of mechanical components into the finished assembly or sub-assembly to defined Engineering tolerances and Engineering drawings within defined quality levels and expected time to achieve due dates. Wire standard and non-standard electrical assemblies to within defined quality levels and expected time to achieve due dates. Pipe standard and non-standard hydraulic assemblies to within defined quality levels and expected time to achieve due dates. Test completed assemblies to defined Engineering procedures, correcting any discrepancies so the product quality and function are secured. Perform repetitive assembly tasks independently. Provide feedback to the Team Leader or status board for safety, product improvement, ease of operation to reduce time, and cost savings. Promote the 5S culture of Alfa Laval through maintenance of tools, organizing a clean work area, and striving to increase safety and productivity. Receive and follow work instructions provided by the team leader.
