About The Position

SRC Automotive, Inc. is a leader in the remanufacturing of engines used in the Automotive, Marine, Natural Gas & Oil and Power Systems industries. At SRC, we do things differently. Assembler – 1st shift 5am to 3:30pm Monday-Thursday, with frequent overtime required on Fridays, and occasional Saturdays. Our Assemblers may work in assembly, testing, packaging, or machining areas of our shop. All work is done according to customer specifications and company processes. Requirements

  • Desire and ability to learn basic engine knowledge
  • Ability to perform basic math; add and subtract numbers.
  • Ability to use hand, air, and power tools
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Regular attendance and satisfactory performance of the above listed duties is also essential to this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform production duties by following written processes (work instructions) to assemble engines or engine components
  • Works within productions processes to ensure compliance with quality standards; responsible for visual and quantifiable inspection of the final result of their process
  • Maintains good housekeeping and safe working environment
