About The Position

The Assembler is an essential member of the team that builds our products. This position produces high quality assemblies in accordance with specific engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions. Responsible for safety, quality and delivery of products for our Aerospace and Defense markets. This role will report to the Production Supervisor of Linear & Transfer Systems in our Simsbury, CT location.

Requirements

• Must pass an aptitude test
• Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment; Energetic and positive; Ability to work independently
• High School diploma
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
• Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to work with energetic material, such as powder weighing and loading

Responsibilities

• Perform manual assembly as defined in Manufacturing Instructions using hand tools, simple machinery, etc.
• Loading and unloading components into press
• Clean, measure, cut, sample, press and pack product
• Maintain quality and accuracy requirements
