Responsibilities: - Assembly of various products and components to finished goods. - Perform any required setup activity. - Position and align components for assembly. - Assemble fabricated/purchased parts into subassemblies and complete products according to a bill of materials. - Operate air tools and basic hand tools to assist in assembly operations. Additional tool operation may be required as necessary. - Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Perform essential job duties as directed by supervisor. - Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Requirements: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Must be willing and able to meet quality and production standards set by department. - Must be willing and available to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled. - Must be willing and available to learn new processes as necessary. - Must be willing and able to work in a team centered work environment. - Comprehend simple instructions, either written or verbal. - Effectively communicate and perform required documentation. - Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - Read basic tape measure and basic blueprints. - Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral work instructions. - Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in various manufacturing situations.
