About The Position

Glastender Inc. is a family-owned manufacturer of commercial bar and restaurant equipment, known for its high-quality products and innovative solutions. We are currently accepting resumes for Assembler positions on Second shift (3:30 pm to 12:00 am). What You'll Do Assemblers safely and efficiently build sub-assemblies and finished products in accordance with established work instructions and company standards, while maintaining high levels of quality, productivity, and teamwork. New employees are supported through a well-established, comprehensive training and onboarding program to ensure consistency, quality, and safety.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to three years of manufacturing or related experience
  • Reading comprehension sufficient for following work instructions and writing ability to prepare basic production reports
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers

Responsibilities

  • Learn and adhere to all safety precautions of the plant.
  • Must keep current with applicable safety training, wear personal protective equipment as required by each task, and consistently demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Learn the work flow procedures of the assigned assembly team.
  • Learn and perform assembly of all products built within the assembly department.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all tools and machinery used in department assembly operations.
  • Cross-train on a variety of assembly operations and with other teams in order to provide maximum production flexibility.
  • Maintain quality standards as identified in work instructions.
  • Keep tools and work area clean and organized utilizing 5S principles.
