About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Assembler to join the Propulsion Team in North Charleston, South Carolina on variable shift. Position Responsibilities: Perform routine production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and equipment using manual or automated assembly tools Model a culture of One Team, Pride, and Ownership Partner with Integrated Build Teams (IBTs) and Team Leaders to mitigate performance risks using Systematic Problem Solving (SPS) methodologies Identify roadblocks and production constraints; escalate unresolved issues through open and clear communication Use KPI and BPS principles to improve production flow and work environment Support overtime as required to meet customer commitments Participate in Lean Manufacturing Systems (LMS) and 5S activities Support teammates by providing cross-training and mentoring to improve overall team performance This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston, SC (BSC)

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
• Ability to work variable shift
• Ability to pass and complete fall protection training and work with heights of seventy feet or more and not exceed weight restrictions
• Ability to support frequent standing, walking, lifting, and working at heights with or without equipment assistance
