2nd Shift - Assembler

About The Position

Assembles metal products partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames:

Requirements

Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
Must be able to follow verbal, written and pictorial instructions.
Must be able to use hand tools, drill or riveting tools.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience.
Ability to read and understand English instructions.
Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
The employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to walk and climb or balance.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
The employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
