About The Position

Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Requirements

• Requires 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• May be required to complete a formal training in area of specialty.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
• Qualified candidates will have to submit to a background check and drug test on-site.

Responsibilities

• Operates hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal, written instructions or by following: drawings, bill of material, schematic or diagrams.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.
