About The Position

Summary of Job: Under the direction of the Value Stream Leader, the production assembler is responsible for assembling either an entire Dynabrade product tool or component (sub-assembly) of a Dynabrade power tool. Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass-produce products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Regular tasks performed and outcomes to be accomplished on the job. Other duties may be assigned. · Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. · Rotate through all the task required in a particular production process. Places parts in specified relationship to each other. Bolts, clips, screws, cements, or otherwise fastens parts together. · Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions. · Conducts quality inspections on product in accordance with quality specifications. · May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. · Maintains production or processing equipment. Tends machines, such as arbor presses or riveting machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations. · Works at different workstations as production needs require.

Requirements

  • Up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Teamwork- work well with others, including being willing and able to do your part as well as wanting to help others when the need arises
  • Manual Dexterity- steady hand and good eye coordination, as they must grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often small.
  • Attention to Detail- detail oriented to make sure that everything comes together as it should
  • Self-Motivation- individual who can monitor their own performance and make adjustments as required.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
