More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Assembler in Littlestown, PA with Signify. (5am-3pm Monday to Thursday)

Requirements

  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility wiring ballasts and assembling fixtures or electrical/electronic parts
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English; Ability to complete production documents in English
  • Ability to physically move materials used in the production area; lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Understanding of quality documents and ISO procedures

Responsibilities

  • Assemble all product that goes through final assembly
  • Assist in new cell layout projects/ergonomics
  • Assist with special work instructions – custom and modified orders; Document assembly instructions
  • Assist and lead in new product introductions
  • Read, interpret and train others on production coding; Train and assist cell members focusing on ballast wiring
  • Inspect product to routing and BOMs; Handle routine revisions to BOM revisions – verify accuracy and process form
  • Address quality related issues; NCR approval; ISO9001 procedures, etc; filling out related reports
  • Filling in for absent workers on a line; assisting on any line with high priority orders
