About The Position

Position Title: Assembler Schedule: 1 st Shift: 6:00am–2:30pm (5×8s) Location: Trafford, PA Are you a mechanically inclined individual? Enjoy using your hands to build things? Attributes that we are looking for: Mechanical aptitude Attention to detail Ability to safely use power tools and measuring devices Willingness to learn Blueprint reading is a plus Your Goal As an Assembler at Cleaveland Price you will be a part of our manufacturing team specializing in the production of electrical disconnect switches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components, ensuring product quality, and supporting efficient production operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• < 1 year of related industry/manufacturing/production experience
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effectively read a tape measure
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Operate hand and power tools

Responsibilities

• Assemble disconnect switches and related components according to engineering drawings and quality standards.
• Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Inspect parts and finished products to verify compliance with specifications.
• Identify and report defective materials or components to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate production records within our internal electronic system.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to company policies.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Inventories tools, parts, and supplies.
• Successfully obtain and maintain crane and fork truck certification in applicable departments.
