About The Position

As our Cable Harness Assembler, you will build mission-critical products that power the world's most advanced aerospace, defense, and space systems. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for producing complex, high-reliability cable assemblies and wire harnesses. You will work from detailed drawings and instructions to perform intricate tasks like soldering, crimping, and harness building. You’ll enjoy working in a fun, collaborative, and fast-paced (high-mix/low-volume) manufacturing operation where quality is our highest priority. This position reports to the Production Lead.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to ITAR regulations.
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Soldering experience is required; certification to J-STD-001 is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with hand tools, including crimpers, strippers, and soldering irons.
  • Must be able to meet and maintain workmanship standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610).
  • Must have good English communication skills (reading and writing) to successfully complete training and follow highly regulated work instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in complex cable harness assembly in an aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience with potting, molding, or testing cable assemblies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build conforming products by following detailed work instructions, blueprints, and production documents.
  • Perform precision assembly tasks including soldering, crimping, wire termination, and harness routing.
  • Ensure quality is built into the product by reviewing all documentation, performing self-inspections, and maintaining rigorous labor standards.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to present products for in-process inspection and final inspection.
  • Perform rework on any identified non-conforming products and re-submit for inspection.
  • Set up and operate various manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
  • Conduct electro-mechanical and mechanical testing of sub-assemblies and final assemblies, meticulously maintaining all test reports.
  • Take accountability for safety and quality by upholding all company standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S).
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
