If you are willing to learn, are dependable and have a mechanical aptitude, contact us today! Job Description: Basic assembly of a few parts following verbal and/or written procedures. This position works in a production line within a team. Each position on the production line assembles a few pieces of the product and passes it along to the next person for additional adds of parts. Ideal candidate will start learning one position within a specific product line and will continue to learn other positions on multiple product lines within the Assembly Department.

Requirements

Basic assembly skills preferred along with a willingness to learn.
Capable of operating handheld tools and other equipment on a daily basis.
Able to utilize basic mechanical and electrical tools including but not limited to air-operated hand-held fastener torquing tools, special assembly fixtures, leak-test equipment and quality checking tools.
Ability to maintain a steady and acceptable assembly pace.
Capable of communicating, reading and understanding basic instructions using English language.
Must be able to work with smaller components; good eyesight and hand coordination.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Ability to multitask with a commitment to quality.
Must be able to sit or stand for an 8-hour shift.
Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the safe, efficient completion of the assembly process in a high quality and repeatable manner.
Assembly of basic parts following verbal and/or written procedures, placing parts in specific relationship to each other.
Tend to machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
Maintain a safe work area.
Wear required PPE to maintain safety and adhere to all safety processes and procedures.
