Essential Responsibilities • Build and assemble mechanical components for Switchgear and/or Breaker units according to engineering drawings and customer specifications using master copy, spec sheet, front elevation and WO files • Perform maintenance and proper use of tools. • perform in process inspections; ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality. • Perform all ship prep functions including splitting gear. • Assist in Root Cause Analysis on engineering changes and correct discrepancies • Assist a small team of employees to complete a specific task assigned as assigned by lead assembler and/or supervisor • Perform mechanical adjustments for switchgear • Promote a safety culture as well as attend all safety meetings. • Ensure that work areas remain clean and well organized.
