About The Position

Metalcraft of Mayville - Fall River (1st shift positions) SCAG Assemblers in Fall River are assembling SCAG outdoor power equipment. Assemblers are responsible for working directly with team members as well as individually to assemble parts and subassemblies for SCAG products on the assembly smart lines. 1st shift positions available: core hours are 6:00a to 2:30p M - F, while on Overtime hours are 5:00a to 2:30p M - F with possibility of Saturday hours 4:00a to 9:00a

Requirements

  • Ability to efficiently work in a team and coordinate work with other departments.
  • Demonstrated detail orientation, self motivation skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Good finger and hand dexterity.
  • Previous experience working with industrial assembly a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates and smart line visuals to assure correct parts, tools, etc.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Complete production and quality forms.
  • Work with a fast paced team to accomplish productivity goals.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
