About The Position

Competitive Pay Rate Starting at: $15.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Health Insurance Paid Time Off Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401K Schedule: 1st Shift PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Assembler is generally responsible for the production and quality of the finished case. Specifically, the Assembler is responsible to form cases, place\orient product inside those cases; label cases if appropriate, and ensure those cases are properly sealed and palletized. Responsible for any necessary rework. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide input to supervisor in decision making that has a direct impact on the efficiency in the production line warehouse. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The Assembler will maintain a visual inspection of label placement, case codes, piece count and orientation as specified by the product standard and their supervisor. The Assembler will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area that is consistent with his Supervisor's instructions. Follow all company policies including but not limited to safety practices and good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) This position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence. The associate in this job has the responsibility to report, in a timely manner, Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action on those problems. Conduct training. Enter data into various systems. Perform any other duties as instructed by management. CAPABILITY PROFILE: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to identify different written forms, box labels and bottle codes. Ability to write information clearly onto forms and log sheets. Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift.
