About The Position

Completes assembly operation on any product in a safe manner consistent with established work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.

Requirements

Ability to interpret blueprints, process sheets, job cards, and work instructions and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with other employees on a regular basis.
Ability to measure and perform mathematical calculations.
Determine the quality of components or finished parts in accordance with quality standards.
Recommend corrective action to improve the quality of production and product in assigned area.
Work successfully in a fast-paced team environment
Skills acquired to operate machines and equipment as necessary in Assembly.
Ability to perform visual, functional, and measurable checks of product quality per procedures.
Ability to effectively communicate with TMM Assembly Supervisor and co-workers.

Responsibilities

Receive and understand daily assignments from the Assembly Supervisor – TMM or Designee.
Restocks immediate workstation.
Puts defective material in red pans designated as such, after consulting with the Assembly Supervisor – TMM or Designee.
Accurately records daily production.
Maintains work area in a cleared and orderly condition.
Follows established housekeeping and safety standards.
Maintains a good attendance record.
Performs other duties as assigned.
This position supports the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS.
