The Assemblers positions are responsible for assembly of pre- and sub-assembly components and performing ground bond testing. This includes packing completed electrical systems, using hand tools and PIV equipment to perform these tasks to comply with codes and standards of a work cell or area. The Assembler will demonstrate proficiency in using blueprints, Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS), On Floor Sheets (OFS), and hand tools required in assembly. The Assembler will demonstrate the ability to interact with MTS and Quality by driving continuous improvement through active product resolution, reporting turnbacks and documenting assembly defects or supplier failures. The Assembler will participate in daily toolbox meetings and ensure shop floor management elements such as Tier 1, QCPC, 5S, Material Review Board (MRB) and other job duties assigned.
