About The Position

The Assembler position involves reading work orders, following production drawings and work instructions, and/or receiving verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. The role requires assembling smart electronic components and cable assemblies using small hand tools, as well as performing various assembly tasks such as crimping, soldering, cementing, pressing, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, stripping, curing, and stamping. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment is essential, along with performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience is not required, but a plus; willing to train the right person.
• Visual acuity and able to distinguish colors.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong manual dexterity and gripping with both hands.
• Attention to detail, well organized, and consistent.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks.
• Sustained dependable attendance.
• Interested in learning tasks and jobs.
• Open to changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble smart electronic components and cable assemblies using small hand tools.
• Crimp, solder, cement, press or similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Perform assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, stripping, curing, and/or stamping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
