About The Position

Ampacity, LLC (Ampacity) delivers a forward-thinking approach to end-to-end structural and electrical solutions for clean energy transition projects. The Assembler role is ideal for individuals with a minimum of 6 - 12 months in solar, construction, landscaping, or related work experience. The position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to read a tape measure. The work is physically demanding, requiring constant lifting of 30 - 50 pounds unassisted and up to 75 pounds assisted, and is performed 100% outdoors. The working schedule is 8 - 10 hours a day, 5 - 6 days a week, and involves regular travel to client/project sites.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 - 12 months in solar, construction, landscaping, or related work experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to understand and follow direction
• Proficient with hand tools
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
• Provide proof of employment eligibility to work in the US
• Comply with drug screening guidelines

• Moving and staging materials
• Loading and unloading materials
• Assisting heavy equipment operators with layout
• Assembling of solar array tracking assembly
• Assembling of gear rack components
• Following directions
• Adhering to company safety procedures
• Mounting motor assembly
• Solar module staging
• Installation of solar modules
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
