About The Position

The Galley Assembly Operator at Enjet Aero is responsible for producing parts through mechanical metal assembly, ensuring that production deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to assemble complex jet engine parts and components for the aviation industry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred
• Installing and removing rivets experience preferred
• Sheet metal experience preferred
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Deburr parts using mechanical means (hand tools and pneumatic grinders)
• Clean and wash parts to remove manufacturing oils, dirt, and debris
• Use hand tools, power tools, layout tools, and fasteners like bolts, screws, rivets, or clamps
• Install and remove rivets on sheet metal
• Build sub-assemblies of aircraft parts and structures using engineering drawings and company specifications
• Read blueprints, illustrations, or specifications to determine layouts
• Attach operating equipment and some electrical components
• Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations
• Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.
• Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
• Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
