About The Position

Armtec Defense Technologies (Armtec) is an operating unit of the Transdigm Group (NYSE: TDG), an industry leader in aerospace and defense products and services. Armtec is comprised of three business units producing subcomponents for ordnance in Coachella, CA; decoy countermeasure flares in Camden AR; and radar countermeasure chaff in Lillington NC. This position is staffed in Lillington, at Armtec's world-class, sole-source facility for aerial countermeasure chaff.

Requirements

• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination is required.
• The ability to read, write and comprehend the English language is required.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Eligibility for any required authorization from the U.S. Government to conform to U.S. export control regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Six months relevant manufacturing experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual tasks while standing and/or sitting at a workstation approximately 10 hours per day.
• Lift no more than 25 lbs.
• Observe safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
