Requirements

• 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction and/or landscaping.
• Use of dimensional and electrical power tools and motorized equipment.
• Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or GED.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds various sized wood crates while safely using power tools.
• Use tape measure to ensure the measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch.
• Safe ladder use required when assembling the tops (caps) of crates.
• May need to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground, requiring use of a 20 pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling.
• Able to read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheet and/or stenciling errors.
• Use of adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conduct specification checks.
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.
• Follow all procedures, policies and understand equipment use before use.
• Report equipment defects and/or maintenance needs to your supervisor.
• Report any unsafe acts to your supervisor.
