Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, 1 year manufacturing experience, and/or combination of education or experience
  • Stand for a minimum of 8 - 10 hours a day
  • Frequent walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, lift/move up to 50 lbs
  • Able to identify, pick up small parts for assembly/pack product
  • Close, distance, peripheral, vision, depth perception, adjust focus

Responsibilities

  • Operating Hydraulic Presses
  • Operating and performing welding duties
  • Assembly of units
  • Testing units
  • Putting on paint caps
  • Other various assembly jobs
  • Flexing from one workstation is required for continuous throughput
  • Able to identify defects
  • Track and enter scrap into MSS
  • How to complete the hour-by-hour board
  • Read and understand a traveler
  • Cross train in other departments
  • Supports 5s and safe work practices
  • Participate in High Performance Teams
  • Able to train other team members
  • Able to work in a team environment
