Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, 1 year manufacturing experience, and/or combination of education or experience
- Stand for a minimum of 8 - 10 hours a day
- Frequent walking, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally stoop, bend, lift/move up to 50 lbs
- Able to identify, pick up small parts for assembly/pack product
- Close, distance, peripheral, vision, depth perception, adjust focus
Responsibilities
- Operating Hydraulic Presses
- Operating and performing welding duties
- Assembly of units
- Testing units
- Putting on paint caps
- Other various assembly jobs
- Flexing from one workstation is required for continuous throughput
- Able to identify defects
- Track and enter scrap into MSS
- How to complete the hour-by-hour board
- Read and understand a traveler
- Cross train in other departments
- Supports 5s and safe work practices
- Participate in High Performance Teams
- Able to train other team members
- Able to work in a team environment
