Konami Gaming is looking for a temporary assembler to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling, disassembling, modifying, and repairing machines and various component parts and sub-assemblies for all products. The assembler must be able to learn Konami Product Assembly and meet quality and time standards while acting autonomously and adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Positions and assembles parts according to verbal instructions, written directions, reading blueprints, and schematics.
  • Follows instructions as provided in the workstation or directions from the Lead Assemblers, Sub-Line Leads, and Manufacturing Management.
  • Performs simple assembly and testing of game machine components to ensure satisfactory performance.
  • Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, clips, or other fasteners using hand and/or power tools or specialized equipment.
  • Disassembles, partially or completely, slot machines and/or various assemblies or component parts for all products.
  • Makes modifications or repairs as directed or indicated by the state of configuration of machines and/or assemblies or component parts, using hand and/or power tools and specialized equipment.
  • Sets up or takes down workstation daily or as required, ensuring the area is clean and organized, tools stored, power tools charging, floor swept, and debris disposed of in appropriate locations.
  • Assists in the loading and unloading of machines to and from transportation carriers.
  • Maintains expected output quantity/productivity of the production line.
  • Maintains a high standard of quality.
  • Participates in company health and safety programs and complies with all company OSHA policies and procedures.
  • Complies with the company's regulatory guidelines and corporate policies at all times.
  • Follows all lawful employer safety and health rules.
  • Reports hazardous conditions to Production Supervisor or Lead on duty at the time of the incident.
  • Reports any job-related injury or illness to management and seeks treatment promptly.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding the company, products, and employee information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED / Mechanical certification is required.
  • Entry level position. One or more years experience working in a mechanical or technical manufacturing role is desired.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, both verbally and in writing with all levels of the business.
  • Required to obtain and retain Gaming licensure(s).
  • Experience using basic handheld mechanical tools.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and stack.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to verbal and written directions in English.
