About The Position

At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Business Area, our portfolio features more than 1,000 programs, including helicopters, integrated air and missile defense, littoral warfare, undersea warfare, radar, electronic warfare, cyber solutions, C4ISR, and training and logistics systems. The business area supports the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy and Missile Defense Agency, as well as intelligence, civil, commercial and international military customers. The work involves being an experienced manufacturing build operator supporting the rework center, inspecting orders, verifying defects, and adding qnote operations. The role provides support with inspection activities based on workload demand, using predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. The operator will use various measuring devices, evaluate non-conformances, and provide remedial training to operators that do not have Manufacturing Self Inspection certification. The position also involves updating work center MSI refresher training based on trends established through routine inspection and collaboration within OETs, and providing inspection support to other work centers at the discretion of leadership.

Requirements

  • SAP and Manufacturing skills and knowledge with circuit card assembly.
  • Specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.
  • 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Proficient in using Windows and MS Office products.

Nice To Haves

  • IPC-A-610 Surface Mount Technology experience.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Move Safe ESD FOD Clearance.

Responsibilities
