About The Position

MSA Safety is seeking passionate, motivated, and driven individuals to join our team as Assembler Sensor Manufacturing associates at our manufacturing plant in Cranberry Township, PA. This position is responsible for the assembly, modification, and rework of moderately complex combustible, electro-chemical, and infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies. The role requires adherence to safety, housekeeping, and quality standards while maintaining production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste. The working hours for this position are 2nd Shift from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $22.19/hr plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 months manufacturing and/or other related experience.

Nice To Haves

• Past soldering experience (training provided if no experience established).

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test complex combustible, electro-chemical, or infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering.
• Pick material out of the warehouse.
• Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.
• Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in the computer system.
