Requirements

• 10 plus years of IT experience in Mainframes (COBOL,CICS,DB2,JCL,VSAM)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hosting Microfocus Cobol applications in cloud environment
• Analyze and rewrite IBM Assemblers to COBOL.
• Strong understanding of experience using GCP stack and Azure SQL

Nice To Haves

• Mainframe Cobol to Microfocus Cobol Modernization experience

Responsibilities

• Coordinate effectively with client and offshore teams
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders in agile teams
• Provide deep technical oversight for Mainframe technologies
• Review and guide resolution for complex production issues
• Support minor enhancements, deployment validation, configuration updates, and platform optimization activities.
• Act as the onshore liaison for all support operations-communicating status, risks, and action plans proactively.
