The position involves assembling production tools using hydraulic and electrical blueprints as well as verbal instructions. The role requires handling, disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling mechanical and electrical assemblies. Additionally, the individual will generate parts lists from blueprints and conduct parts inventory, terminate wires in electrical boxes, and perform point-to-point wiring across various voltage systems. The job also includes conducting equipment function checks and hydraulic testing, setting up and testing subassemblies to specification, and collaborating with project planners to resolve issues related to production parts or blueprints. Troubleshooting and repairing production tools as needed is also a key responsibility, along with performing all assignments in compliance with written procedures and NOV's quality policy. The role requires safe operation of forklifts, bridge cranes, man lifts, and scissor lifts, maintaining shop housekeeping according to 6S standards, participating in and leading continuous improvement initiatives, and performing additional work-related tasks as required while complying with NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies.
