About The Position

The Assembler Process position is a hybrid role that combines responsibilities of a Production Specialist with special process work. Employees in this role must be capable and willing to perform both aspects of the job description. This position is essential for fulfilling special process staffing needs and includes tasks that are considered safety-sensitive. Employees may be required to participate in the FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Pool and complete regular human factors and other specified training as necessary.

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in Manufacturing environments
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with work requiring fine motor skills
  • Ability to pass an annual eye exam, as required
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Fully trained (and/or certified) to conduct special processes such as Plating, Brazing, Paint spraying (requires respirator fit test), Tig welding
  • Proficiency and in-house certification in soldering
  • Understanding of how to use measurement tools
  • Ability to frequently use microscopes
  • Ability to pass safety wire training
  • Ability to work with adhesives, chemicals, etc., as called out in work instructions
  • Ability to wear a respirator for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts per work instructions
  • Calibrate / ATP test production assemblies
  • Support product launch efforts, as assigned
  • Maintain flexibility to work in multiple areas, as assigned
  • Collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Train others, as assigned
  • Complete other work, as assigned
