We utilize a wide range of metal forming techniques and special manufacturing processes, servicing the commercial, military, regional jet, helicopter, and general aviation markets. Position Summary Performs a variety of assembly polish operations on assemblies or subassemblies and/or build parts for such assemblies, according to work instructions. Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint and work instruction specifications. May perform a wide variety of complex tests, fit checks, troubleshooting, and rework on components, assemblies; data entry and suggest improvements. Monitors and verifies quality processes or other control procedures. Will also assist with inventory and cycle count.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Basic computer proficiency and functional knowledge with applications and activities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic math and reading comprehension

Responsibilities

  • Able to identify and properly use basic pneumatic tools such as drill motors, dotco's and countersink cutters
  • Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by understanding assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists
  • Read and Interpret drawings, illustrations, specifications and identifies their relevance to the manufacturing of parts
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Assembles parts to subassemblies using bolts, screws, rivets, and demonstrates the proper use of adhesives.
  • Documents processes by properly completing production and quality forms.
  • Verifies all tools are in acceptable working condition including calibrated equipment and demonstrates the proper use of them
  • Entry level position - we will train you.
  • Good regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
