The successful candidate will set up and assemble molds in a timely manner, produce high-quality products, and maintain a safe work environment. Participation in continuous improvement activities is expected, along with the ability to understand verbal and written instructions. The role also involves supporting an environment of growth and enthusiasm with other associates, performing precision fitting using manual tools and equipment, and verifying clearances, alignment, and operation of moving parts in assembled molds. Documentation throughout the building of the mold is necessary, and the candidate should be able to evaluate and recommend modifications or adjustments for the mold fitting. Ensuring conformance to specifications utilizing CMM, height gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices is crucial to produce drawing-specified dimensions and ensure overall quality.
